Click Setup  Preferences  Codes tab. Find the work ticket Status Codes in the list. To create quotes in QuickService, a status with a Status Type of Quote is required.

Click the Customers button  Work Tickets tab. Verify that there is now an Add Quote button on the upper-right side of the window. If there is no button, call tech support to enable quotes in QuickService.

Click Setup  Preferences  System Numbering tab  Work Ticket ID settings. Quotes are numbered the same as work tickets.

It is recommended to add a Quote ID Prefix to easily differentiate quotes and work tickets.
