Click Setup ⇨ Preferences ⇨ Codes tab. Find the work ticket Status Codes in the list. To create quotes in QuickService, a status with a Status Type of Quote is required.
Click the Customers button ⇨ Work Tickets tab. Verify that there is now an Add Quote button on the upper-right side of the window. If there is no button, call tech support to enable quotes in QuickService.
Click Setup ⇨ Preferences ⇨ System Numbering tab ⇨ Work Ticket ID settings. Quotes are numbered the same as work tickets.
It is recommended to add a Quote ID Prefix to easily differentiate quotes and work tickets.
