The QuickService customer web portal allows users to view and edit their account information with various service companies. Typically, your service company will have a login link on their web page. The login link for United Drain & Plumbing in California is shown below.
Getting Started
Before logging in for the first time, you will have to call the service company directly to get a user ID and password.
Home Screen
The customer web portal is especially useful for managing multiple site locations, like property managers and restaurant chains.
Once logged into your account, the home screen is visible. It lists open work tickets on the top and unpaid invoices on the bottom of the screen (there are no unpaid invoices in the list below).
Double-clicking any work order in the list opens it for viewing the details. Double-clicking an invoice opens it for printing or saving.
The invoice list can be filtered using the date range fields in the top bar. The work order list can be searched by work order ID using the search box.
For customers not on-site when service work is being performed, it may be useful to log in and check the status of a work order.
To create a new work order, click the ‘Add New Work Order’ button on the top-right of the screen. Chose the correct location address and enter as much information as possible, including a description of the problem and a requested time for service.
The new work order immediately pops-up on the screen of the scheduler in your service company’s office. From there, it can be confirmed and a technician dispatched to your location.
Customer Screen
Click the ‘Customer’ tab along the top to view and edit customer related information.
The information on the upper-half of the screen, including billing address, can’t be edited using the web portal. For these changes please call your service company directly. Phone numbers, email and web addresses can be changed and saved here.
Locations Screen
Service location info can be accessed by selecting the ‘Locations’ tab along the top. All your different service locations and addresses are listed here. Click one to view the details, including physical address and phone numbers.
This information can’t be edited from the web portal.
Click the ‘Add New Location’ button to create a new service location. Enter all info as completely as possible, including physical address, phone numbers, email, and any notes about the location that office workers and field techs should see.
Work Orders Screen
Click the ‘Work Order’ tab across the top to view all work orders. Double-click on a work order to open it up and view details about it, including schedule and order date, location, status, and problem description. This information can’t be changed from the customer web portal.
The search bar on the top of the Work Order window searches for work orders by ID.
New Work Orders can be added the same as from the home screen.
Invoices Screen
Click the ‘Invoice’ tab across the top to view all invoices. The search bar allows the customer to search for invoices either within a specified date range, or by entering the invoice ID in the search box.
Double-clicking an invoice opens a new window to view the details of this invoice. From this window, the invoice can be printed to send in with payment or for customer records. The print button is on the top-right of the screen.
The export button is also on the top-right of the screen. The second screenshot below shows the options of exporting the invoice as an Excel or PDF document.
Note: There is no way to pay invoices online within the customer web portal.
